Falastin Cookbook

Palestine has never looked more tempting and delicious than in the book of Sami Tamimi, head chef of the Ottolenghi deli chain in London, and Tara Wigley, Ottolenghi's recipe developer and editor. The introduction was written, of course, by Yotam Otlengi.

This is a culinary love letter to Palestine, which includes 120 recipes - traditional and contemporary - compiled by the authors following a joint journey in the regions of Tamimi's childhood in Bethlehem, East Jerusalem and Nablus, in Haifa, Acre, Nazareth and the Galilee. The recipes are accompanied by 13 travel photos and spectacular dish photos, and the book also brings the stories and voices of Palestinians, who are usually not heard.
